I got mine from @JT@Bajakits for a great price.

I think I saw you had property in CO? If so, you can call Ben at Filthy Mptorsports in Boulder, CO

Yes, extended travel. I had TC UCA before no issues at all, just want to change it up this time with boxed UCA, Dirt King perhaps. Wonder what material DK UCAs are, TC's are 4130.

    yep 4130 chromoly.

From what I've heard and read the total chaos are the best on the market and stand up the best to canadian climate. so my choice was made for me as soon as I heard that haha.

But otherwise you'll love the Fox. Same ones I have and they are outstanding.

I run an MRP Stage on my bike and it is the tits! Way better than the RS / SRAM stuff that I have ridden before. That said, My float x in the back works wonders on the daily for me.

What do you thinks a full Ohlins truck setup would run? My friends Specialized Enduro is full swede and feels fantastic.

These threads are always funny. Lots of heresay. If you want real suspension knowledge and included custom valving to your specifications, talk to AccuTune. If you have a great shock without good tuning, its not going to matter much.

Fox! and Total Chaos too. Have had a great experience so far with this setup and have used it for a wide variety of activities so far. Tracked this truck at VIR, decent amount of towing, and a little offroading too. upload_2017-12-12_7-31-52.jpg

Def got some sweet rides there. I hear ohlins could be the next major change up in suspension, I know they have a strong rep from their roots in other disciplines. I have a few buddies who run MRP stuff and they def are underground as far as marketing, but have some solid products that not many know about. Most of my all mountain bikes have the pike on there which works decent for what I like with the charger damper.

With fox stuff, I think part of my gripe was the fox 40. It would be heavy as hell and all of my friends forks always felt either junked up or not set up right which was about 5 different forks that I had played with. My older intense tracer had a fox RP23 which isn't the greatest rear, but I remember when I swapped it to a canecreek DB coil that bike really came alive instead of being nimble and weak. TBH though, I just got my girlfriend a cannondale trigger which is full fox stuff and it felt crisp so my perspective might just simply be outdated.

Is that a nomad you are rocking? I have the blue/purple (girl) bromad version and it does pretty well with the RS monarch plus for big hits.

Its a "Nomad Lite" lol... For Utah, the Nomad is actually a little too much bike.

It is a Bronson CC with the 150 fox fork taken off and a 160 MRP Stage put in its place. Eats up everything in Utah and Colorado I have fed it to date, and I back down before the bike does.

Yea man I wonder now a days if a Bronson would have fit my bill better, but I have a transition smuggler to make up for my laziness now. I agree though, anything more than 150 in the rear can really bog things down. That being said though, I bet the Bronson kills it on many types of terrain. Do you ever do any gravity riding?
