4 inch lift with 285x75x16 10 ply tires.
How much tire psi should I run in 285x75x16 10 ply tires on my 2002 Toyota Tacoma? It has a 4 inch lift in it and rides like a tank! Thanks for any input

When I worked at the tire shop we recommend 32 psi in all the smaller trucks and SUV's,
That what I run in the 285's on my toyota.

Chalk test it. But typically 32-35psi.

Welcome to TW! Also check the sidewall of the tire. Sometimes they have the recommended PSI on there.

Your 10pr/E-load tires have maxload of 1750kg/ 3850lbs? AT 80 PSI . But check this on sidewall.
Your rear gross axle weigt rating is probably lower then that. So advice pressure will come to lower then half of 80 psi so 40 psi.
So I can imagine that with 80 psi filled your ride will be verry hard.

I can calculate the needed pressure for you, but need best real weight on sepetate wheels, but GAWRs will do.
The official formula comes to lower pressure, but you can add 10% to the weights and calculate lineair.

Tire shop put 40psi in mine, too damn much... it was stiff as shit. I’ve aired them down to 36 and still may go lower, need to chalk them.
