Have you looked at aftermarket? I got the extang solid fold 2.0. Fits well, easy on and off, etc.

I have, actually the one u mentioned. I watched a video of an install and I’m not a huge fan of drilling the bed for the drain tubes and the relocation of the bed rail system. I don’t know I’m torn haha what’s your thoughts on it

I didn’t have to to do any of that with mine. I have the solid fold 2.0 and it’s a awesome cover ! No drilling or nothing , fits perfect on the existing rail system

Hey guys, One of our fellow Tacoma owners needs our help. Some of you met him at my house..

Sam aka 05dubcab & Katie Rudman lost their home yesterday due to a fire. They were not at home at the time and luckily their son and baby daughter were with them. They lost everything including 2 family pets. One of which Ruger, we knew from TacOberFest and Carlisle Truck Nationals. There is a go fund me page set up. Please, if it's only $5. Give.. They are one of us. And, even if it wasn't the Holiday Season. It's never a good time to lose everything you worked for. Thanks for your support.

I've known Sam and Katie since 2005 long before the married were students at WVU. If you can't recall Sam, you are bound to remember "John Deere, Sams buddy Atwell. Had a big ass Dodge and just loved the Tacoma guys and our trucks.. Good kids, great parents and have 2 beautiful children. If you can, donate.. Thanks for the share.

Thanks for the info! I may have been thinking of the encore. But one question, from looking at the solid fold 2.0 on their website. Does the front section near the cab fold back to the rear allowing access to the front of the bed?

Not sure which one you looked at, but mine required no drilling or relocation of anything. It attaches directly to the existing bed rails, just had to remove the end caps. Took 5 minutes to install. Bed caps don’t have to be cut, etc. no drain tubes.

    He beat me to it...

No it doesn’t fold back, but access under it isn’t that bad. Plus, you can take it off the truck in a minute or two, by yourself.

Edit to add: I love mine. It’s not 100% waterproof, but only leaks with heavy raining while driving. I could probably make it tighter to eliminate that, but it doesn’t bother me.
