    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
As I am considering the exhaust reroute and am concerned about how that would affect my warranty, I did some searches about it. Here’s good info here about modifying your truck and legally protecting your warranty:

    https://www.magnaflow.com/support/faqs/general-questions/will-it-void-my-factory-warranty/

Based on the article above, the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act of 1975 requires manufacturers prove in writing why damage caused by a consumer directly caused damage to the warrantied part. So the dealer arbitrarily saying a warranty is void for putting a shell on the bed can’t do that. Putting in a reroute on an open exhaust pipe with another open pipe may also be hard to prove grounds for warranty voiding as well.

Are you just doing a cat back only? If so then you will be fine. Also you Wil be fine as long as you have the sensors. I seen plenty of aftermarket exhaust on toyota and never have seen any warranty issues when I worked for them.
