    Which ones did you test drive? I was on a mission for a wagon so I test drove an Outback, Impreza, and Crosstrek. Bf is tall with long legs, but not huge feet like you, I’m 5’6” with long legs and drive like a gangster. We both found the Crosstrek to be comfortable. Time will tell. Where ever we take that thing on it’s first real road trip will reveal its true comfort.

    My son and his wife have the Crosstrek and love it. We've been on a 5+ hour road trip with them and it was great. Comfortable and plenty of room for four + baggage.

    if I were to be in a different monetary/work situation and needed a more economical daily driver I'd go back to a Subie in a heartbeat - and most likely a Crosstrek

    My wife’s 2012 outback has 126k miles on it. Has been driven to every corner of the country. We once drove California to Vermont in 50 hours, taking turns sleeping and stopping as little as possible. Very comfy.

    Edit: Btw we drove around with an empty rooftop basket for a while, and it dropped mpg by 4-5.

    Thanks a bunch man, the Gorilla tape was a great touch. When I cut it opened it smelled like a 5lb bag of sugar free Gummies lol. Everything is great, a nice mix of garage and camping. The land Rover patch is a great addition to my 'Disco Overland #landroveryo' build! That stuff is PROOF!
