He posted a pic recently of his sweat shop working on getting them built. I'm guessing they will be available relatively soon!

    Ok!

So I received a test set of V3 (I paid for) to test against my V2. I bought the V3 as I needed a replacement V2 back in October (accident) but Meso didn’t want to make one as V3 was coming soon and I was Ok to wait as V3 looked awesome. Well finally I have something to report.

    Fit:

Fit of the new V3 is as perfect as stock. There are a few tiny differences in the back side but nothing that effects fit. There is no rattling. After the signal is all installed and mirror reassembled, spraying the turn signal with a hose, no water is getting through into the mirror housing. Foam works. So that’s a win.

    Function:

The V3 lens is not as dark so more light gets through from the LEDs compared to the V2. The light is more of an Amber now and less reddish. I attribute this to the spray tint as with the tint removed, the V2 LEDs are more Amber, less red. So these V3 are brighter than both stock and V2. Win!

    Finish:

Sealing is good, and I enjoy that when light is shining into the turn signals, there is no longer Amber reflecting back. So they are perfect for my taste aesthetic wise. No chrome, no Amber.

There is no more spray tint to flake or get scraped off so these will be way more durable.

The LED strip is a tiny bit thicker, so at the point the strip curves around the tightest curved spot on the lens it makes contact just slightly leaving a small mark you can find if you look for it. Comparing the two, that is the only possible aspect I could point out as not perfect, and it’s pretty small. Doesn’t effect function. When it’s installed, you likely wouldn’t notice it without looking hard or being told.

Here are a couple pics of a test set of the V3 compared to my V2.

    4BAB76D5-5440-4149-9D4F-4201B2EC23A7.jpg

    V2 left, V3 right.

So V3 works better, looks better and is more durable. Top it off, it’s notably cheaper.

All in all V3 is a win.

Here is a shot showing how dark it looks on the truck, in direct sun light. It’s plenty dark.

    ^ Thanks!!
    To clarify,
The V3's are not as dark tinted as V2's. I wanted a little more light output, plus that was the darkest the factory could make it. In direct sunlight it looks light.. but at any other angle it is pretty dark. With the new LED board being black, it defiantly helps with a passive "blacked out look" (when off). I also specified a slightly different wavelength color as to match the OEM signal color better(more of a yellow/amber).
All in all Its a much better signal; fit, function, and looks!
