But at least it's in a giant day care center where the guns point in, so there's that.

Good to hear she's alright. Guess we'll learn more about it throughout the day, but these people are lunatics. My sister lives a couple blocks from where that congressman was shot when playing baseball up in D.C.

Ya the wife called me on the way to work and told me as I was not aware. I’m sure she is shook up, but she is a strong girl she will be ok.

I would highly recommend this for the third gens. I have it and have been loving the last release 1.02C_C... it really makes driving the truck more fun especially if you are fully loaded or having to hit a lot of hills/mountains

Ok I was thinking this was one different then yours. I have been considering it but still debating. Not sure I want to pay for premium all the time.

He has released an 87 and 91 tune. I have run both. The transmission and other enhancements are on all tunes. What you miss out on is some of the power with the 87 tune. Just an FYI. On the last trip, i started on the 91 tune and with 93 in tank. On the trip, I was unable to get any more 91, so I flashed in Big Bend's Rio Grande gas station to the 87 tune. I ran this until we started on the way home and had access to 91+ octane.

The difference felt between the 2 were mostly in the power delivery. I was fully loaded and we were in the mountains of New Mexico. I felt less power on those times the elevation increased rapidly. The remainder of the fixes applied to the truck, even on 87, made it quite pleasant to drive still. It had to shift down more since it had less power.

I wish he had a handheld tuner for it but he doesnt yet for the 3rd gen.

So you are able to change it if needed, guess it is part of the kit when you purchase?

Yeah, the drawback for the 3rd gen, is that there no handheld tuner. You would need a laptop. I took a small one with me on the last trip and it wasnt a problem. He provides a Tactrix OBD2 port thing and a dongle. Both plug into the laptop and then you use PCMFlash to flash the tune he sends. You get 6 tunes, A, B, and C for both 87 and 91 octane. The A, B, and C describe the various different shifting calibrations in use.

first post shows the differences in those 3 and other data. This is definitely in my top 5 fav mods on Big Perm. With all the added weight of steel armor and my camping kit... it helps a ton
