so looking into some rock sliders which is a hard enough choice to make...however wanting to do weld on as they are cheaper than bolt on types, problem is I have no clue where a decent 4x4 shop is around Columbus, willing to drive to get it done right but not too far incase i dont like/trust the shop when I get there. Anybody know of a shop worth a fck where I could buy or get a set fabbed by them and mounted, hell if one of y’all does this let me know, Tried the google machine but no luck so far. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't been able to find one here myself. Maybe someone else can chime in.

You would think being this close to Bama and FL there would be a need/want for something like this...

No, mostly mall crawlers in these parts. There is a shop in Auburn, AL that might be able to help you, I haven't been there but I've seen them online before.

Lifted brodozers on 6” drop brackets and 6” blocks is majority of what Columbus has to offer. Big reason options for fab shops is slim to none in the area.

Look up @EddyRRT with SOS Concepts (Laurens, SC) or @BudBuilt with Bud Built (Hudson, NC). Both do great work and are pretty well respected within the TW community. They are about as 'local' as I have found for legit Toyota specific fabricators. I'm in Newnan if that gives you any perspective. I'd be shocked if anyone in the Columbus area could be build a one off set of sliders (weld-on or bolt-on) at the price point and quality of SOS or Bud Built.

If driving to them is out of the questions, I know SOS used to ship sliders via Fastenal to the lower 48 for $100. Not sure about shipping rates for Bud Built.

Thanks man, I ordered a set from hefty fab works out of CO Springs, I am from there and they do great work, they are a bolt on set that come powder coated and with two step plates for front and rear doors, so my wife and kids don’t twist their ankles getting in and out, they had a hell of a Black Friday deal, and shipping was only 50 bucks which is the best around, everyone else was charging 250 minimum. So I went with them, just waiting my 6 to 8 week fab time now lol.

    Nice

I've seen some Hefty Fab stuff. I like some of their 1st Gen Taco and 4Runner armor.
Tough to be $50 shipping  I thought $100 for sliders from SOS was the best out there. Is that their normal shipping price or was that part of the Black Friday deal?

Sorry for the late response! the 50 dollar shipping was part of their BF deal, that why I jumped on them, that weekend the next best shipping deal on sliders I wanted was 250, and that was to a depot in town not my house, so I went with the better deal, plus the step plates and powder coating was not retarded extra like some places, I paid 750 shipped for the set.
