I’ve got two pairs of skis bouncing around under my tonneau right now.

My search skills are failing me, does anyone make an accessory rail system that will hang them over the wheel well? Something like this, but for skis instead of fishing poles.

My 170cm Nordicas would fit there great and the tailgate would shut, but maybe I'm among the minority that has skis short enough to fit there?

Yeap.........It's a very "productive" morning at work. I think I've got a plan...... I think I'm going to buy a couple of Relentless quick fist brackets and use them as a base for a ghetto-fabrication-bungee-cord ski rack.

If I can cinch it down tight enough the bindings should be kept pretty safe.

Hmm. Hadn’t thought of hanging skis there. I have a shell, and when I installed tracks for a roof rack I put superstrut on the inside, and I’m planning to run cross bars of the same to hang things (like skis) from. But I’ll keep an eye on what you figure out, might be the better solution.

Ya know....I bet I could just bolt a cheap hard case to a set of the relentless quick fist mounts.....Off to Craigslist!

Or just hang a ski bag's carry straps over the cleats.
