Hi I have a 2007 regular cab 4wd manual tacoma that I'm trying to sell. It was passed down to me from a relative, I don't really know all too much about selling trucks.

It runs perfectly but it has a few cosmetic issues:
    • missing sliding rear window
    • right side mirror plastic casing is damaged
    • left headlight casing is pushed inwards
    • headlights are yellowed
    • license plate lights don't work
    • floor mats are missing
    • minor, but noticeable scratches
Would it be a worthwhile investment to repair these cosmetic issues before selling, or should I just deduct the costs from the price of the vehicle?

Depends how much you want for it and how firm on price you'll be. People will still try and talk you down based on the issues even with a lower price. Fixing it will not only add value it will make it more desirable to potential buyers

I wouldnt necessarily consider a missing window, headlight pushed inward, or license plate lights not working cosmetic.

If you can do the work yourself, it will surely increase the value.

That being said imo people will buy a good running Toyota in pretty much any condition if the price is right, meaning you wouldn't have a problem selling it as is if you are reasonable with the price.
