The foam is being added to the install. Our product development team is working on getting everything updated. We jumped the gun a little on including the foam.

Hi Bailey @Baja Designs , hope you and yours are doing great. I’m about to pull the trigger on a set of fog lights for my Runner. Please let me know what is the best option for light off roading use but heavy back roads driving. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Finally had a chance to install my @Baja Designs LED Squadron Sport amber wide cornering fog lights with Toyota bezel kit

    These things are legit!
    • Lights appear to be very well built
    • Insanely bright, wide, and really good color
    • Toyota bezel kit fits perfectly and comes with everything you need to install
    • Instructions and installation and super straight forward and easy
I'm really happy with the look and it blows my previous setup out of the water (OEM fog lights with lamin-x tint)

Bailey from @Baja Designs is great to work with as well and will hook you up. I'm looking forward to adding more BD lights in the future!

Thanks for posting up! Are you looking for maximum performance or something a little more street-friendly?

The Squadron Sport Pair in Driving/Combo will give you at least 3x the usable light over OEM while giving you a nice blend of nearfield, midfield, and distance lighting.
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/squadron-sport-pair-driving-combo-led.asp

The next step up would be our Squadron Pro Pair. The Squadron Pro is a 40W light that puts out 4900 Lumens compared to the Sports 20W/1800. This would be a great alternative to a light bar or other aux lights and would give you over 5x the usable light of OEM.
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/squadron-pro-pair-driving-combo-led.asp

We do have night shots showing the individual lights here:
    https://www.bajadesigns.com/content/Night-shots.asp

Let me know if you have any detailed questions, the above options are great All-in-One setups for a nice blend of nearfield, midfield, and distance. Don't forget to use BDForums coupon code for 10% OFF + $5 Shipping at checkout!

    "Squadron Pro First Use
    December 2017

Saline trip was my first real use of the Squadron Pro lights I put in place of the stock fogs. I'm always headed out to the springs in the dark given my typical schedule for the day and the fact I'm usually doing a sunset photo around Panamint Springs or Lee Flat. It was the trip down Grapevine Canyon that originally motivated me to do the Fog Lights Anytime Mod as a first step. The Squadron Pros are essentially that on steroids.

Well I can say I really like them and they work pretty much exactly as I intended. They throw a whole lot more light to the sides an higher up than the fogs do which makes it a lot easier to tell where a winding road is going and what might be looming out from the side of the road. In addition the spot beam portion of the pattern also did what I want - provide very bright but low raking light that really makes the road surface features pop at a distance.

Now was it all worth the rather exorbitant cost of those particular lights? Well that is of course a matter of opinion and in my weird aesthetic taste I was trying to pack as many lumens as possible into the stock lighting locations. As mentioned earlier I think one of the cheaper light bars mounted in the lower grill probably achieves the same effect for less money (though I must say after watching my transmission temps during my June trip I'm not so pro on blocking that lower grill). Once again must mention the Fog Lights Anytime Mod really gets you probably 70 or 80% of the way there for free with just the OEM lights.

Part of the way through the drive I picked up two unexpected passengers (details to follow in a trip report some day) and as soon as we started driving the first thing they said was "wow, those are really nice lights!". So apparently it isn't just me that likes the setup.

I stopped in Grapevine to once again take comparison photos this time with the better context of an actual road:

Wow. Those OEM Brights are horrible. That was one of my first mods. I had to get HIDs. My HIDs only are just like your Brights + Squadron Pros. What a comparison though. Crazy

In the pictures above, I see you have the black plastic pieces that I believe are supposed to come with the bezel kit. The kit I ordered online came to me without those black bezels. It has everything else though. Are those required? I am guessing they are but thought I would ask anyways. I made sure and ordered SKU 447110

Maybe you or @Baja Designs can help me out?

If youre talking about the angled bezels, it was a recent addition to the fit kit. I had the original fit kit from awhile back which did not include them at the time. I recently purchased them through a vendor, but it is a part thats available by itself. I can check my invoice later if need be.

but I’m sure @Baja Designs can get you setup with a link or part number.

@Baja Designs do the squadron sports come with that bezel now or are we still ordering separate? I want to treat myself to a set for christmas haha.

The Plug and Play, Fog Pocket Kit (447110) does include QTY: 2 Squadron Angled Bezels. The Squadron Sport Pair will NOT come with the angled bezels. If for some reason you have an old kit and wish to purchase the angled bezels separately they can be found here.

Without reading all 18 pages of this thread, it seems like all these lights are for 2012 and above. I have a 2011 AC that came with no fog lights or wiring. I like the Squadron Sport as they seem like they could act as ditch lights if aimed properly for someone who does not want lights on top of the hood. (I did say “act” as ditch lights on purpose as most would probably not consider them as real ditch lights) but they would be a big improvement over the OEM headlights which is all I have now.

I did find these brackets , but the photos give no indication how to install them. I’m very new to lighting and have only started to do research in the last couple of weeks or so. I’ve never installed lights of any kind, but plan on doing the installation myself, but will take it to a pro to have the wiring done right. Below is a photo to show what the stock 2011 fog light location looks lilke.

Thank you for the video. I waited till I had a chance to get the pressure washer out to clean the mud off the vehicle so I could crawl underneath and take a look before responding. There is some sort of plastic/rubber mud guard with slots in it that will need to come off before I can even think about accessing the rear of the fog light location. I don’t see anything that looks like something holding it on. Any ideas on how to remove it?
