Now we need to see if my welds hold up

 

Killed a hole saw bit(blade?) then used my pencil die grinder to finish out the jack bolt hole.

 

Just a little black RTV and then...

 

These connectors don't seem like they're hard to get to but the shifter, steering wheel, and seat are in the way.. Can't get both arms maneuvered to get my hands in there. Then you got the parking brake handle trying to poke your eye out!

 

And it's out, ugh

 

So it looks like the homemade jack adapter worked as advertised

 

Yup, never expected otherwise. The plans are straight out of land rovers workshop manual.

 

Yay my welds held up looks like the holes weren’t exactly lined up but 2 bolts is prolly fine

 

Yea. I'm gonna drill out the holes a size bigger, it might make it easier to reinstall pulled tight to the support.

 

I bought a nice seal driver set... Without realizing that the seals I was to be installing were around input and output shafts.

 

It may not look like much to those that don't know, but this was a huge score! 04 SLABS ECU and CDL shifter

 

The rear door now has a working handle! Now to decide if I'm replacing the stock speakers in the door or upgrading.

 

ummm...replace...duh

 

Quality posts like this is why I have this build here. The LR forums are slow and unresponsive.

Last but on the T-case before install. Removing the T-case mounted interlock solenoid(neutral safety switch) in favor of the shifter mounted interlock solenoid.
