No, the Tacoma is staying as of right now. The whole point of getting a new truck was to tow it... so I need to do that at least once haha

I know this is an old post, but have you joined TLCA / Toyota Land Cruiser Assn ( https://tlca.org/ )? I was at a shop a few weeks ago and they had some magazines lying around and I picked up a few and started reading through them. The magazines were Toyota Trails which is the publication of the TLCA. I was really impressed with the magazines and so I checked out the club and it's pretty cool. I'm looking for an FJ40 or 55 and I enjoy all the shit they promote at TLCA even if I don't currently have a cruiser, so I joined. $35 a year. Definitely worth it if you are into cruisers.

Hey buddy I didn’t really know about this. I will check it out. I have been doing a lot of research on the 40 lately and just ordered some goodies that will keep me busy during Christmas break. I love the 40 what I enjoy the most is digging looking and making parts that are hard to find. I have been thinking about starting a new tread on my build. will check tha TLCA thanks for the info.

Getting super close to changing my suspension, I can't decide if I really need RR's. I'm gonna go with FOX and with a 2.5 ext. Travel. Do i pay the extra $300 and look cool with the resevoirs. I kind of wish the 2.0's were avail. In ext. Travel. But realistically thier all overkill. I don't know. I can't make mind up.
Doesn't help wheelers has a set for $1600 with the dsc adjusters just has some slight scuffs on the coils, only problem is thier only 13" #600 springs on it.

If you aren’t running a front bumper or any added weight 600# is what you want. If aluminum bumpers and skids then 650# and if steel then 700#.

And get RRs. The malls are where it counts. Trust me. Either go fox or King.

Fox has better protection against the elements

Weight wise I believe I'm best with #650(sliders and skid)

You can always get 650# springs but then that’s 2-300 more. So better of just getting new Fox’s built with them already.

    Just do it.

Side not: picked up the raptor from the detail shop
