A cynical comment: this remind me of the dot com bubble. I wonder if the following advice applies: 'by the time everyone has heard about it....it's too late'

Sold 2 litecoin at $350 on coinbase to my USD Wallet. Still waiting on the funds to show so I can buy back as it lowers. Anyone have any idea on how long that takes?

ive been hesitant to buy into this stuff because i hate putting my credit card on this type of site. how confident are you guys with putting your card on coin base?

can you take your CC info off after you purchase the BTC/ETH/LTC?

still kind of confused about where i want to keep my wallet info after purchase. i dont like the idea of it sitting on a website where it may be hacked. i know this has all been covered on the first page with the leger nano stuff

I am very confident my CC info won't be compromised. Even if it does, USAA is great fraud prevention. I ordered the Ledger Nano and will be using that as my wallet. You could print everything out if you only plan on buying a few things

Stop selling on coinbase. Gdax limit buys and sells will help you tremendously!

Alright folks. Got an idea, take it or leave it. We all know about the big 3 coins right now. If you've done any research at all, which hopefully we all have then your in a coin for a reason. I have a couple alt coins but would like to expand that portfolio. So here is what I was thinking. What if we all voljnteered to do some non bias research on some of these start up projects? Each person does some studying and posts up some notes on the coin. I'm currently using binance, so there is a huge portfolio of coins to choose from. Would anyone be interested in looking into a project and then posting your findings? It would make a valuable resource for all the Tacoma world family in researching coins that could possibly become the next bitcoin. Any interest?

So I've been working through Kraken with all the pains everyone is talking about. I was b**ls deep in the verification process so I kept going. Money all transferred fine and was able to buy in, although it took a few tries just to get the order placed.

Last night I did my 50 XRP test run and my Ledger transfer was still pending after an hour and a half. Their website has been working at about 20% success lately. Anyway, I went to bed last night and kept having dreams about bad shit happening after hearing the horror stories on Reddit. I woke up and found out my transfer was successful. Moved the rest over (which was a large amount, hence why I'm so nervous about it) today and it went through in a few minutes. Ripple is much faster than all of the others, I think Kraken was just struggling last night. BTC can take up to 200 mins to get all the confirmations (from Kraken's website).

I'm good to go, Ledgers locked up. Time to HODL

I’m haven’t finished researching yet but two of interest to me are IOTA & Electroneum. Haven’t seen much chat on electroneum in here yet.

Start with Ripple. I never had any interest in crypto until I read about that. They're trying to go mainstream, and working with banks and governments to get the technology used.

Look back through this thread and you'll see some posts about it. Someone called it "The Banker's Crypto". Currently at $0.36, went from $0.24 to $0.41 today then back down a little.

Awesome. I've heard about it just haven't taken a deep dive in research. If you have any more notes post em up. You could be the ripple researcher?

Throw up some notes on electroneum if you get some good info. The good, the bad, and the ugly so we know what it's all about.
