ARB is the only snorkel I've seen for the Turds. Does anyone know of other brands? Or retrofitted a different model????

Not feeling how bulky/long the ARB is on the fender. They could have easily gone straight in and down to the air box INSIDE the fender.
    something like this

Just saw JTM's(?) And it drops clean into this T4R.
Maybe i'll have to try one of those...

Following. I had an arb and it didn’t last long. I can’t stand the look. Only good for one thing.

I’ve though about doing one from aluminum tubing. A mix of bends and welded sections. That’s about as far as I’ve gotten.

I'm with you on this, I hate how the ARB looks running down the fender. I posted this a while ago, but still haven't found it on the market. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/help-identify-this-snorkel.477095/

I wonder if the Hilux model could work like on the 05-15's or even the Airflow..

The wedge is from a Hilux model, I think I will just need to trim down enough to clear roof rack. It should still follow the body lines.

I am about to do the same thing. But I'm leaning towards a snorkel made for a land cruiser. Not worried about the height as it can be shortened, but more concered with how it will sit against the fender. Will need the right curves to fit flush.
Worst case, I'll design/print a 90° elbow that will go into the fender.

I looked at the 2005-2012 Airflow snorkel It looks like it may work, assuming the contours match up of course. It has 2 90's and a flex conduit for the connection from the air box to the snorkel. but it also has a big ram rather than a wedge. This one has more fender contact than the land cruiser in your pic, but it is still significantly less than the ARB.

My problem with those on the market is the gigantic scoops that our options come with. Other locations have scoops that are so streamline but ours have to be this huge scoop that sits above the roof.

Dobinsons makes one, but it's pretty hideous.
