So just came back from Baja with the truck. Had a great trip and put roughly 800 miles there and back. Have a few things to take care of now that I'm back State side.

I had the opportunity to run the truck through a section off the beach with some speed. First time since I did the new suspension setup that I've been able to hit a faster section. I feel that the front handled everything great! Accutune Off Road did an awesome job at recommending the proper valving for my truck, that I can tell so far. If there was/is any issues with the front, it was overwhelmed by the poor performance of the rear setup. The rear takes hits great, but pogos insanely after that. To the point where the rear of the truck leaves the ground and kicks in one direction or another. I understand that my truck is not ideally setup for running faster sections, however I would like to be able to play in the desert/beaches at a medium speed without repercussions.

After running this section a few times I feel that this is from a variety of factors. My Dakar leaf pack has had two overload leafs since I bought it and I've been wondering if that may be a bit much for my setup. It works great when fully loaded, but I don't run trails loaded very often. I also feel that the 5125s that I put on don't have enough valving to control the amount of rebound caused by the combination of the leaf pack along with the Timbrens. @MadTaco461 mentioned that the cause could be the Timbrens themselves causing the pogo, but I wasn't sure if they have enough energy to shoot the truck off the ground. I'm thinking that a more properly valved shock would help a ton, maybe going with a shock relocation like the BAMF with a 2.0. The question is would that be enough?

Mike had also mentioned more compression. Another thing a higher quality shock would help with, but I'd like to hear others thoughts and opinions as well. I unfortunately don't have a video but I did take a few pics of the amount of up travel I have available before making contact with my bumps. Keeping in mind that the bumps themselves compress under force.

I should also mention that there was minimal weight in the truck bed while hitting this section. I had a full size spare tire and some luggage but no tent/hi-lift/cooler, etc.

I don't know if @lembowski still visits the forum still, but he can give his input on the Timbrens.

Yeah they definitely made my rear end bounce like a pogo stick. I had a few pretty scary moments with the Timbrens and they came off the truck pretty quick. They may be good if you are going slow and flexing it out, but at speed hitting some whoops they will make your asshole pucker up when they give you the big bounce.

What did you go to after the Timbrens to solve it?

A few pics from this previous weekend! Went out to Anza with @erice and @Prayn4surf to explorer the network of trails out there and had a great trip on the dirt. Did roughly 50+ miles on the dirt and there is so much more to explorer!

Photo Dump of the pics @erice took with his mad photo skills. I have a lot to learn.

Had some down time at the shop after a suspension install and decided to play with a fuse block mount I've been wanting to make forever. Used scrap 3/16" aluminum we had laying around and the pre-wired fuse block that I purchased from @ttran076 and wired up from another member with the right stuff.

Using the two holes already in the fender, I found two spare bolts laying around to secure the plate. The aluminum plate began to crack once I reached roughly 90 degrees but it's overkill for the application anyway so the integrity is still good for my usage.
