California Wildfires

Is anyone being affected by the Ventura Co. Wildfire, or the one in San Bernadino ? Im Near Anaheim and i can smell the smoke from here. Prayers to anyone who might be affected.

 

I'm in Simi and for now we're clear but its crazy pretty much all surrounding cities. Left work early to avoid getting stuck in traffic with all the closed freeways. With the wind going strong until Thursday puts everyone at risk. Stay safe!

 

Yea no kidding, the whole area is a time-bomb at this point, its spawning new fires . Not to mention 4 fires withen 60 miles of each other makes it so hard to control let alone one but 4 ! . I'm down by Anaheim and we haven't had a fire, but 60-75 MPH winds have downed trees, power lines and made traffic even harder. Hopefully anyone who lives up there made it out ok tho!

 

In Pasadena and can see tons of smoke from the Ventura fires 60 miles away. The strong winds are definitely making things more nerve racking, we get fires in this area near the San Gabriel mountains every year it seems. Hopefully everyone stays safe, if anyone needs any help don't be afraid to post and ask for it

 

if anyone needs help this may be a good way to get it! Crazy Stuff is happening out here this year

 

Few of my buddies are working it one almost got burned over(surrounded, deploy fire shelter then prey the fire physically rolls over you) another friend helps evac ppl and livestock he almost got surrounded as well cause of a down power line crazy be safe out there! I guess a couple capts think it might be arson. someone running around that’s just word of mouth nothing official

 

Jesus , to have arson even be considered shows how much the world is going down hill. Prayers to your buddy's man ! Be safe

 

We had and caught a arsonist last summer up here by Quincy. He also started a couple other fires. Take care.

i hope all is ok i heard there was one heading for Simi , there are so many happening at once its scary.

 

Fire broke out in Porter Ranch along 118 fwy. Fire is spreading. Be careful out there. God bless all the fire fighters, medics, volunteers, and other people helping. Thank you all.

 

it just gets worse and worse each day i hope the winds stop ASAP

 

3 of the skycranes that I work on are down there fighting all the fires... I’m currently on IA out of Ramona

 

Winds should be dying down as well as temp as the week progress’
