Wonder if those guys ever thought people would be seeing their names years later on the main engine when they painted it. During Desert Shield and Storm I only got to write my name on bombs with chalk. Anything else would have been long painted over by now anyhow.

Missing the red Engineering Operating Sequencing System books in the black holders on the throttle flats deck plates. Gauges still have calibration stickers on them. One of the large ones with the marker set at 15 is the main engine condenser vacuum gauge. Go below 15" of mercury your going to be dead in the water.

Thanks for posting. The plant sure looks Cold Iron to me.

Just finished doing 3 backflows. I do more before 4:00am than most people do all day, or is that after 11:00pm?:notsure:

    Morning all.

Little bit of snow on the ground as buck' mentioned. 2 hour delay for the kiddies and the plow just went by.

I hate to say it but the pneumonia is still with me. It's coming back a bit. I have an appt on Tuesday with a pulmonary specialist but I think I'm going to have to call my primary this week. I'm hearing some crackling and there's pain again when I take a deep breath. Earliest I'll see the primary is tomorrow, he's out on the golf course on Thursdays... o_O

State trucks *plowed* the snot out of Rt.1 for this massive "dusting". Lots of sparks flying.

10 here this morning was mild like this first year I moved here. And come January this too will change. Ugh.

Hard to tell without ripping it out the stuff we replaced it with during the asbestos abatement program looks the same from outside the lagging pads. If it was asbestos and had to work on it then everyone evacuated the pit and I used a hacksaw blade, water spray bottle and a white respiratory mask. So much for the positive air displacement suits only saw those in training

Can't like this and hope you get better soon. Make that call, hoping for the best.
