I have 2009 TRD 4 door, towing package, 96,000 miles. I am replacing the front struts, and wondering if I should replace the springs as well. I am just keeping a stock appearance, no lift or bigger tires. I know, dull and boring. Should I just call my local dealer for new springs ? I've looked online but I can't find any advice on the subject. Thank you, Mike.

Springs wear out eventually, but unless you're sagging excessively in front (and who isn't really), no reason to replace them unless you want lift or are adding weight to the front.

The rear springs on our trucks aren't the greatest and may not go the life of the truck if you actually use it but I've never heard of the front coils being particularly problematic.

If you do feel like you need to replace them , keep you eyes peeled in the fs thread. People are always selling their stock stuff with low miles on them Just an idea
