    Dude, it scared the crap out of me. I had decided to sleep under the stars about 10' away from the tracks, so it was right on top me before I knew what the heck was going on. You just don't expect them to be operating that late on a Saturday night. Haha.

    National Coal mine #17 where i used to work, the portholes have had material pushed up to discourage entry. the concrete pad in the background on the right used to be the shop.

    view from whats left of the pump house, the pipe sticking out of the ground at the base of the wall on the left is buried into the middle entry for water supply underground, concrete pad in the background here is where the mainline belthead and stacker belt mounted...
