the frame ones have already been removed and beefed up. the fronts hook up to my TG bumper.

not a big section but in pieces. I cant do it on the inner side because of clearance issues. so im welding it outside. 3 different pieces on the front and 3 on the bottom.

Just use angle iron and make an "X" out of it on the front part

 

This. Will be stronger that way for sure. I was going to do something like that and two pieces of angle on each side of the diff.

 

Alpine...the best. Running speakers all the way around. Single din deck and mini amp. All alpine everything!!

I took some pictures and just curious if these show any telltale signs of wear or imminent "threats." I have some close ups too. These are lined up cylinder 1-4, bottom to top:

EDIT: Did not observe any oil on plugs when I took them out btw.
EDIT #2: Truck has 195,000 miles on it with no previous maintenance records.

 

That's a lot of miles on factory anything!!

The key to making your speakers sound really good is to amplify them and most importantly properly sound deaden your doors and rear quarter panel (if you're an xtra cab)

 

Just rea lied I didn't post here after my recent project. Just finished a rear frame plate, box, x brace, total chaos shock relocate and lspv delete with maul valve install! Build has more info

 

Did the transmission shift seal and bushing today,
What a difference, 5speed shifts so smooth now.
Seal and bushing were all worn down and dirty.
Inside is all clean again

 

Is that a TC shock relocate, with the mounts outboard of the frame rails?
