Cavalry Blue looks a lot like a 1971 Blue Hilux pick up truck I used to own way back in the day.

Starting just after 1:35 you can see the part of the grill where the sensor is. I'm guessing you should still be able use trd pro grill on other trims, just may be more involved.

Too many but also not enough mods
My old Liberty was a similar color. I miss that little Jeep, so much more fun to drive in snow than 4 door Wrangler since it was smaller and easier to whip around.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks like a darker blue that has already faded?

I agree. My mom has that color and every time I would park my Tacoma next to it I could only imagine how awesome a pro Tacoma or 4runner would look in that color.

Put a front bumper, add some fancy bed accessories, bigger tires and people will appreciate the color.

Cant believe no former Army Cavalrymen have chimed in (yeah, I earned my spurs), or Infantrymen even. This is such a dumb name for the color. The Cavalry branch is represented by Red and White (true Cavalry) and also Yellow (1st Cav Division, which many say is not true Cav). Infantry branch is Blue, although the Toyota color is not exactly that, either. In any case, I think they should have called it Infantry Blue.

It’s from back when cavalry actually rode horses.

vvvv Civil war cavalry. Period correct uniforms. Note pants. It’s not a dumb name for the colour, it’s actually accurate, at least in terms of pants.

@Stocklocker yeah Infantrymen and Artillerymen wore the same color pants in that era; the striping was different. Hey, check out that Cav guidon... I stand by my comment, dumb color name.

They should change the name to “Old Pants Blue”
