    Hello.

I come to join my fellow Tacoma nerds.

Just wrapped up the final days of assembling my truck with its new paint job, so she's flashy and ready for show and tell. Have had her for just over a year now. Paint was getting pretty bad, but have a connection with a body/auto shop so got that fixed this last month for a steal after helping with assembly/disassembly.

Chose a ballsy color to replace the original silver mica: an older flat grey Chrysler color code with 5% metallic for an eggshell look. Was going to go with Toyota's Cement color code but wanted to be more original as I've surprisingly seen 3-4 older Toyotas with it already here in Phoenix and Prescott. I take her off road quite a bit as well, so I got some beefy clear coat.

Was quite a risk, as flats can look weird. However, luckily Toyota knows how to do its window liners and trims properly, plus did the scoop, handles and mirrors in black and added similar eggshell-sheen pocket fenders. My advice to anyone going flat: I channel my inner Lincoln Osiris: never go full flat.

She kind of looks like a 90s fighter jet ;)

Not too many modifications. 4WD w/ Standard V6, 285/75/16 BFG KO2s, Tuff Country add-a-leaf for 2" in rear with Bilstein 5100 series, titanium spacers for 2.5" in front (hope to replace soon, not a fan of spacers) with Bilstein 4600 series, new aftermarket Eagle Eyes sport trim headlights/fog lights. No idea what brand of wheels, came with truck and don't have any inner serials or branding for some reason. K2Motors pocket style fender flares (these are amazing and way cheaper than Bushwackers).

    See y'all around.
