I had a similar issue. Then posted in OF4WD about it. Within 30min had 5 different private messages about him doing the same shit to others.

Heard stories at work from random guys that found out I'm into off roading and mention if I've heard about Core then say ya and its nothing good then hear their stories. Heard countless stories from other shops in the GTA as well.

For me it was ordered two sets of TREDs that were in stock on the website, paid upgraded shipping so I could have them in time for an upcoming trip. Well they never shipped ended up contacting core and was told 'sorry site had wrong info but they'll be in next week'

so figured I'd wait. after two weeks asked nathan again whats going on, no reply but read message (all on facebook)
another two weeks and told him I wanted my money back (this was after I heard the stories from OF4)
Took a week and a half of arguing with him to get my money back. In which his words were "could I pay you monday I'll have more orders come in over the weekend so it will be easier to pay you back"

I get when you're a small shop its kind of a revolving door of money, you take payment from one to use for mix of stuff. But considering every story about Core is that he never delivers etc. Its basically every payment he gets from an order is for paying someone back.


I wanted to support him so much just because he's north of the wall. Hell when it comes to supporting canadians I will pay more at times. I'd rather support small shops and locals than buying from bigger places etc. But with Nathan, no fucking way.
Everything he makes is just rip offs anyways, and shitty quality.

Unless its exchanged in hand I wouldn't do it. Besides I think those are used, and I'd be concerned

After 2.5 months of failed attempts to get anything from Nate, I decided I had had enough.
I asked for my money back and was asked if I can wait until Monday. How funny is that? I guess some poor soul will be paying my refund.

 

He seems to have a lot of fun and mod money, according to Core Outfitter's instagram...

Sorry for all you guys having trouble recovering money hardly gain. I ask him a quote for a OME lift last year, never got an answer, i am glad he didn't!

 

Only the silver taco and yellow fj is his. The other truck was a customers. Still though the guys a crook.

 

Lots of the same stories coming out of the Vancouver area as well. Takes your money and doesn't reply. Says his store is moving but still taking orders. Stuff like that.

Wanted some stuff but glad I read reviews first.

 

Core has made his way to Vancouver. Damn.

 

His truck is the silver one.

If he played things right and honest, he would create a pretty good company making and selling overland/off road products. I was so hoping he was the answer on our side of the border. Too bad.

 

A lot of us did and put a lot of faith in the company. Very big disappointment.

 

Sadly i have also fallen victim to his scams. i made a order for a rotopax and mounting set way back in march.after wating many months i finally had to ask for my money back. please for the love of God dont give this crook your money. i know finding cheap parts up here is rough but there are better ways to do it than core

 

Dang their stuff looked good too. Canadian made and everything.

His prices aren't bad either and that's the hook that gets you in.
