Always makes me think of this ... same when the first bluetooth cell phone ear piece things came out ... original Star Trek concepts were so on the mark.

Good morning everyone, another warm day for me, highs 40*. Survived the shopping madness yesterday, spent to much money on the wife, she deserves it. Still no plow truck down our street. Found out it’s a new cost saving policy, no overtime for county employees. They will be out early Monday morning to clear for school buses. The joys of lower taxes. I hope everyone is doing well.

Siri is for crazy people who talk to themselves and here voices from people who are not there.

At least that's' what I was told.

I've been avoiding them the last few years. Couple guys in the shop are "instant assholes just add alcohol".
And with my recent medical difficulties alcohol is a no-go and dietary requirments also make eating out less than desirable.

I don't think Siri understands my diluted southern accent ... most times I've tried getting her to do something for me, I always have to repeat myself several times before she gets it right ... mostly I end up frustrated by the exchange. :notsure:

I've found some of technology to be convenient and some kinda cool (like the ability to be here with you folks as a form of entertainment). But Friday I found myself driving to 4 or 5 businesses to talk to people face to face because one of the things I've found is a lot of people who once thought all this wizardry to be so cool and convenient for doing business now ignore it for a multitude of reasons. And, without realizing it, I've been doing most of my business like this since I moved here. I really think I like the old "personalized" way of doing business than what most have moved away from. Having said all that, I really appreciate the solitude and peace of being able to work alone without many people in the way.
