I’ll see if the wife wants me to help wrap. I haven’t wrapped in years but she is having a hard time with her mother not being here and her medical issues. She is definitely way way off her game.
She hides it well but my girl is not the same person. I ache for her...
Maybe she will kick me out of the wrapping room. Lol...

I hate when people try to communicate/coordinate urgent, high priority stuff via e-mail. When I ran the command post at RAF Mildenhall (1998 to 2001) we supported 5 different commands. I averaged well over a hundred emails a day. Took me the better part of the first year to get folks to understand they had better make a direct phone call to me for the important stuff.

... and with the virus/hacking threat nowadays, our systems are so bogged down at work that sometimes I feel they hinder us as much as they help.

 

... I hate the shopping, but I like wrapping. Kristi usually buys all the stuff for everybody, but I usually end up wrapping a lot of it.

 

Well done...although the dog do all the work Good luck with the "Targets" after the nap of course! FYI, I'm ok with the Navy language and thanks for your service!!!

I married a very social woman, still has her friends from elementary school, middle school and high school and so on. But now she sees my discomfort and gives me an out if I want it.

I never liked wrapping gifts. But, it's good quality time spent with wife.

 

Email. People drive me up a wall with that. The one thing I really hate is walking into the office, have someone ask me if I got their email, tell me what the email was about, go read the email and find out the conversation was nothing like the email. Or, get an email, get a text asking if I read the email.

Same here, I get to work and an engineer asks if I got his email. I ask when did he send it. He says 10 minutes ago. Well da.

Good morning. Coffee in hotel sucks. But I really feel a need to go find some cookies and fruitcake now. And eggnog.

 

You know Mike, sometimes words won't do it. Just being by their side makes all the difference in the word. When she is ready for support, she will open up.

 

I thought you were stronger than this. It's perfectly evident your true feelings for ketchup by you clear obsession with it. It's ok Andy we are an understanding and supportive group you can relax and come out now.

 

Wow!!! As a retired nurse as well as just a guy, Its nice to hear grown men speak kindly and well of their spouse. I hate hearing shit like "My old lady sucks" If you're that unhappy get out of ...although probably no one else would have you! Sorry for the rant
