This was a cleaner sealant that Toyota sold as part of some package with my 09. Does anyone know who made it for Toyota, where to buy some, or an equal alternative? I just realized how great it is at taking out water and bird etching and there is only half a bottle left...

odd the part number you posted pulls up these toyoguard car care detail kits, there are threads about it on both tundra & 4runner forums

    http://www.tundratalk.net/forums/detailing-tips-tricks/64273-vehicle-shield-protection.html

my opinion just buy some sonax products and call it a day, toyota isn't putting anything special in their products they are just paying someone to private label that stuff...

Yeah, I have it on my truck now. Longevity will pretty much surpass any all-in-one on the market right now as far as it’s sealant component goes. Obviously longevity is variable depending on several factors. But I doubt you’ll find an AIO that will last longer.

If using a DA, it’s capabilities are fairly impressive to say the least. By hand, you won’t get quite the same bang for your buck. It’ll knock out water spots by hand. Swirls, probably not without a lot of work. But that goes for any product when applied by hand. You’ll still get the protection, you just won’t get the correction intensity.

^^ I’d almost guarantee you it’ll be better than the Toyota stuff as far as protection goes. As far as abrasive load, I’m not familiar with the Toyota stuff so I really can’t say.

If you have a 2017 and need a product to remove bird poop etching and water marks regularly, you need to wash your vehicles before they incur paint damage. The sealer you use isn't very good if you still have those things grabbing onto your paint.

I would go with a good clay bar kit and a quality sealant. Anything @harpolith recommends will be good. I use Chemical Guys Jet Seal. Love it. I've had it on my truck for 8 months now. Still going strong.
