Oh my she's gorgeous dude. I wanted a Dutch but couldn't find one dark enough like that. So I ended up getting a knock off Dutch

I can see that pic going on their FB page. The chair might be good for a POR-15 ad.

    :(

Bloat is a common thing in most dogs. Our girl was inhaling her food so we bought one of those slow feed bowls to help slow her down.

Thank you for the likes!! Sorry about your loss Kevin. My wife and I lost our Male Akitas years ago on his stomach turned. We hope this is helping our 2 Akitas now which we were recommended from where we rescued our female Akita. We soak there dry food for about a hour or so before we feed them. It blows up the dry like you would not believe. We think that what happens when the dogs eat there food to fast. That is our routine anymore with feeding. Sorry for the long post.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Our's get's fed from a treat ball, plus 3 meals a day. It helps slow her down, and gives a little mind play. Although she gets mad at the end, and just pops the ball open to finish

I've also heard that you don't want them to go running around right after eating. This can also possibly cause ther stomachs to turn.

It can be a real problem.

Its a pretty well known issue. More so in larger dogs than small. I keep my pup pretty inactive for around an hour after he eats as a precaution. I might be a little paranoid about anything to do with my pup though.

Same here. He's not even 2 yet and 3 miles is enough to give me shin splints but he still wants to play for hours when we get back.

Yes I agree. If you talk to a Vet they cannot give you a answer why it happens. All you can do is take precautions.

We spent 2hrs at the park today. Barely phased her despite her tugging at the leash in my pocket (usually her sign that she’s done).
