Well, I'm beginning to fine-tune the nuances of my truck post-lift. I went from a 2.5" leveling kit with spacers and AAL to a OME kit with 9000s, 886 springs, and Dakar HD packs. My truck previous sat level when stock and with the spacer lift, however my passenger side rear is now an inch higher than the driver side. I've noticed it a few times and usually just figured my truck was parked on uneven ground, but I've measured in multiple parking lots and it's definitely an inch higher back there. My front measurements are even. I have the OME trim spacer installed on the driver-side coil pack and I installed the Dakars with the "+" side on the driver side and the "0" side on the passenger, as specified.

I purchased the following to have some options: OME 5mm Leaf Spring Trim Packer Qty 2

I'm inclined to start with the 1/4" spacer on my front drivers side coilover to see how that levels everything out, but I'm a bit worried I'll get an uneven height up front. Anyone else encounter such a big difference in rear leaf packs and ride height after installation of an OME kit?

A full tank of gas will certainly cause a bit of an offset in the rear. Mine wasn't that much though.

Yea I figure between that and the fact I'm rarely riding with a passenger, perhaps a lean is normal, but with new suspension on a relatively new truck, that seems like a large difference in height. I have a cap on all the time, but the Dakars should easily handle any weight back there from the cap and the gas tank.

Yeah driver, gas tank, and battery are 3 heavy things only found on the driver side of the truck. I've heard that upgrading the radiator supports can help with the lean, but those shouldn't be an issue yet on a newer truck.

Yea same, I did those a couple months back just to avoid the sheet metal issues people have had from the battery weight when wheeling

Unfortunately the leans aren't uncommon. I get people with brand new stock Tacomas who have an 1" of lean to the drivers side. Usually adding the higher spec'd leaf spring (when possible) to the drivers side can help but even then it can still fall short. I do have people who use the OME rear trim spacers and they are successful in correcting the lean.

I made sure to do that during install, sounds like the OME from spacer might be a good route to try next!

I got two of those that are stackable, I want to say they're 5mm each. I wasn't sure if that would throw off anything by lifting only one leaf pack so I haven't installed them yet
