Had to dig back and read to see . I guess the reset and wait method worked and it was just a hiccup as I haven't seen it since, nor remember doing anything about it. Did you try clearing code and see what happens?

Got some things, definitely not what I thought they were. A lot thicker metal. Now I just need to figure out what to put on them.

I have replaced TC lock up solenoid and the two shift solenoids, trans filter and Toyota ATF.

Still get CEL once I get to 55mph.

I reset it and it comes back. Or I can reset it and drive around with the OD off and it wont come back. but once I use OD it will come back.

Damn. Not as lucky. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in with some pointers or advice as I never had to research this more as mine stayed clear. But checking the solenoids was where I was gonna start if needed. All I really remember. Sorry and good luck

Is @Blackdawg still the go to person to tag in here?

Based on what I am reading. it may be time for a new torque converter.

Here is the best explanation of a code P0770 and what it really means.....

    https://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0770

"When the code P0770 is set in the Powertrain Computer, it means that the Powertrain Computer or PCM is seeing greater than a 200 RPM difference between the rotational speed of the Torque Converter and the Transmission Input Shaft. When the Torque Converter Lockup Clutch engages, there should be a 1 to 1 ratio between the Converter RPM and the Input Shaft RPM."

What it really means is the code has nothing to do with the transmission internals if the oil has always been clean. It really means the the PCM has detected "slippage" between the engine crankshaft and the trans input shaft. The TCC is slipping. The pcm has detected slippage while going on the highway with the torque converter clutch in lockup mode. Lockup mode is slipping and it shouldn't.

    Some more light reading. :p

I'm going to try to replace it next week.

I really wish I did it when I was replacing my cracked flex plate last year. Hope it's not to expensive at autozone.

Found out what was causing my driver side window from working properly. At first I thought it was my window motor going bad again but luckily it was dirty (hope that does the trick)

Cut off the stupid looking donkey dick tail pipe today.

Just added a tip dumped right behind the axle.

...and did the deck plate mod, because I just didn't have enough shit going on this weekend anyway.

I just went and found the instructions, still can’t decide what I want to put on them. I have the ones you posted a couple times my cart, I just don’t know if I want them or some side shooters for the mall.....

Do the ones you linked keep water and shit out of them?

Never had a problem with that.

They also shoot super wide and pretty damn far. I'm very happy with the beam pattern. The light up the ditches perfect and still the front great. I have them angled just barely outward.

Today I hoarded more crap for my taco.
University Surplus had these NATO jerrycans for $10. Clearly too old to be from china. No corrosion inside but some outside. Funny, I just got a bunch of new plastic NATO can$ for water and petrol while in Canada this summer, but these look bad ass and old like my grandpa's hi-lift. The question is, do i paint them? upload_2017-12-18_17-48-31.jpg
Also someone dropped a rim in my driveway? Maybe for my rusty rimmed spare tire? Looks like it has a lot of balance weights on it.

    I forgot to post:
-Yesterday i got a toll way pass for the beltway to the airport.
-Last week i got a new windshield courtesy of the glass care insurance add-on that likely does not save me money in the long run but feels like it does because once every 15 years i get a free windshield. now I hear a annoying click coming from the dash every time i get above 60 and hit a bump.
-Last month i installed harbor freight foam floor pads in the bed for... well.... you know.
I did a bunch of work this summer but never had time to post it. And i really couldn't make it sound funny or impressive. Kinda like the things i wrote here.
