I just went and found the instructions, still can’t decide what I want to put on them. I have the ones you posted a couple times my cart, I just don’t know if I want them or some side shooters for the mall.....

Do the ones you linked keep water and shit out of them?

Never had a problem with that.

They also shoot super wide and pretty damn far. I'm very happy with the beam pattern. The light up the ditches perfect and still the front great. I have them angled just barely outward.

Today I hoarded more crap for my taco.
University Surplus had these NATO jerrycans for $10. Clearly too old to be from china. No corrosion inside but some outside. Funny, I just got a bunch of new plastic NATO can$ for water and petrol while in Canada this summer, but these look bad ass and old like my grandpa's hi-lift. The question is, do i paint them? upload_2017-12-18_17-48-31.jpg
Also someone dropped a rim in my driveway? Maybe for my rusty rimmed spare tire? Looks like it has a lot of balance weights on it.

    Hell no.

It took decades to get that perfect look.

    I forgot to post:
-Yesterday i got a toll way pass for the beltway to the airport.
-Last week i got a new windshield courtesy of the glass care insurance add-on that likely does not save me money in the long run but feels like it does because once every 15 years i get a free windshield. now I hear a annoying click coming from the dash every time i get above 60 and hit a bump.
-Last month i installed harbor freight foam floor pads in the bed for... well.... you know.
I did a bunch of work this summer but never had time to post it. And i really couldn't make it sound funny or impressive. Kinda like the things i wrote here.

Here are the cans I found at a yard sale for $10

    After

You can still get new caps, seals and pouring spouts for them.

I was thinking to prevent corrosion not for aesthetics.... but... point made. I suppose the rust matches my hi-lift (originally used by my grandpa to pull fence posts).

I think I figured out my P0171, it was simpler than I thought. The MAF was just oily from my K&N oiled filter. I bought some MAF cleaner, sprayed it good, and never got the code again. Ran a bottle of seafoam spray throw the throttle body too, which was a real pain since my CAI slopes downwards to the front of the truck and a lot of the seafoam just dripped out of the filter.

Finally got the new SPC upper control arms and Whiteline lower control arm bushings torqued down, new steering rack installed, new tie rod ends installed, new stabilizer bar bushings and end links installed, and front end alignment done. Thank the powers that be for Diablo carbide blades! Those cam bolts were a nightmare!
Also relocated my turn signals to my corner lights.
After a two weekends of headaches, busted knuckles, and hemoraging money, my truck is finally back on the road!
Feels good to do all the work on your own (minus alignment).
Had to let all that out... :D:bananadance:

Didn’t do anything to the Tacoma today but started the process of checking something off my bucket list, cleaning up these cars to head to the mecum auto auction in 3 weeks. Going to be some long nights ahead of me

I keep meaning to clear coat my mailbox that has 37 years of perfect patina on it. Hot rodders would die for this look.
