Put the new Traeger pro series 22 to the test this past week. Brisket and pork butts (sorry for the vertical phone pic)
Had to pull the brisket earlier than I hoped.. was getting late and needed to feed people. Tasted great, but another hour would have done wonders. Didn't even need a fork to pull apart the pork, turned out amazing..

I'll be buying another for Christmas and should be able to find $4.99/lb. Last year I bought some that were $2.49/lb (USDA Choice) from a Wal-Mart that was ovestocked.

I'm not sure where this one came from. I didn't recognize the packaging - my in-laws gave it as a graduation gift. Everything was whiskey and beef

I was at Costco this weekend and they had USDA Prime Frenched rib roasts for $14.99/lb. Frankly, not that bad of a price. I'm really leaning towards that for Christmas. I usually remove the bone to get a more favorable shape of the meat, but I might have to give up a little bit of the edge and some crust to go full badass on the presentation.

$44.50 at the bargain Hunt on old fort Pkwy in Murfreesboro. I have no need but man that's a steal. If I bought another grill, I'd have to buy a tent to live in after my wife evicts me.

Char Siu ribs were roasted, not smoked but man...great flavor! Intensely Asian. Too much flavor to eat half a rack. A few ribs are enough. Will be awesome stripped off the bone and into stir fry.

Marinade: Put everything together and marinade for 12 hours. Cook to your liking.

You know, I’ve always wanted to do this with a significant other, (maybe even my wife) with a blanket and a taste of bourbon. Just seems like a good time to me.
