Ok guys, this is my first ever thread. I need to buy new tires for my 2014 SR5 and I'm looking to go bigger than stock. I want to put on a set of Wrangler Duratrac 285's. Not sure yet if I'll use my stock rims, or buy new ones, but my question is: How much lift do I need for these?? I don't want to have to cut anything in my wheel wells, but I don't want to go too big either. Any advice would be appreciated!!

You’ll need wheels with 4.5” backspace with 285s. Generally lifts won’t help you clear tires unless you only drive on road. If you go offroad, you’ll have to cut no matter what. But if you stay on the street, about a 2”-3” lift will help.

Hope this helps :) Welcome to TW.
