IIRC toyota programmed it so that if you have it set to the defrost setting, it runs the AC compressor for that exact purpose

 

My Honda did and my wife's Honda does the same, but the AC light comes on when you press the defrost button. On the Tacoma I can notice the compressor cycling when it's on defrost.

 

It comes on but you can turn it off. If you want.

 

is anybody interested in some kind of trail run on either the 31 or 1st I actually can do one this weekend just need to know asap to plan ,i know there's a Rausch run planned but so far it seems to be all blues/blacks

 

What do you have in mind?

I still want to throw down at GR when we get a good 6”+ snow

 

I seriously love 4lo. With a manual, it’s absolutely crucial to do any sort of technical wheeling so you’re not frying your clutch from feathering it the whole time.

Looks like there will be a group doing greens and blues at Rausch on the 1st now if anybody is interested in going .If I can get a few small things done to my pig before then I will probably head up .

 

I might go as well if I can convince the wife to join! I'm gonna do blues again.

 

I had a blast yesterday, if I'm around that weekend I'm down for another trip up there. If there isn't too much snow I'll hit some blues.

 

The blues were a lot of fun. Challenging enough to make you think and still hit armor, but not so hard you’re breaking shit.

 

When the temps get above freezing and you got to get the salt off ,pressure washed the undercarriage 1st then hosed off the rest of the pig

 

I so wanted to do mine today but had to take the mower deck off the tractor and put the snow blower on. Maybe I can run it through the car wash on the way home tomorrow.

Anyone seen these in person? Opinions? They have been around a while but the midsize truck version became available in October. 1200$ isn't cheap but its a lot less expensive than the Joboxs and other metal drawer systems.

 

Dosent clean up to terribly for 10 year old paint. Although I noticed I've got some small rust spots forming on the front hood edge

 

Scuff and hit with touch up paint, its all you can do
