Hello all... my gf just bought a 2017 TRD offroad and I would like to wire up some rigid cube spots for her. I'd like to wire them to switch on with the brights as well as a switch on the dash. Can anyone point me to some threads detailing this or school me on it?
I'm thinking it would either be one relay, a switch to the dash and a wire off the relay to the brights with a diode, or wire in a second relay somewhere?

Thanks in advance and merry Christmas/happy festivus

Just a question, why would you not just put them on their own switch and can be turned on and off when needed. If you wire them to the brights, you will need to run through a switch anyway in case you want brights on and no spots.
With the spots on their own circuit you are doing two things, 1. isolating control of the spots to when needed, 2. stay away from tampering with the vehicle electrical system which could cause trouble should a warranty situation arise.

I guess the warranty situation is a good point... didn't really think about that. She is just not really likely to use them if she has to use the switch. But I'll probably will end up wiring like you said... thanks for the tip
