Stock headlamps were broken from impact before I bought my truck. Figured I'd get a "cooler" look if I'm gonna spend money anyways. Installing LED bulbs into the projector side is pretty easy. The reflector side is going to require some cutting into the housing which may cause water intrusion. I will think long and hard about it before I go cutting the lens. Here is my step by step on installing headlamp LEDs with fans where I could get them easily.

The only tricks are that the led lights have a collar that comes off for the lock mechanism on H1 bulbs. Pull that off and bend the metal lock just as much as needed to hold down and not interfere when the bulb is installed. Other than that cut light the rubber boot to run wires through and seal it back up after.

Have not installed them yet so not sure about heat dispersion or body fit Will add to the post after install.

How have the housings performed? Had any condensation issues? Could you post some pics with them installed?

I can dig this. The H1 bulbs suck. Next time they die im going LED. Are the LED's powered from a little power box like HID's? Do you even use the stock plug at that point for power and geound all that stuff?

I’m interested in this as well. These lights look great, if they are sturdy I may look into getting some.

I had these same ones for all of 2 weeks.
    Installed HIDs.
    Cutoffs suck on the projectors.
If I remember correctly, you cannot run highs and lows at the same time.

    SEAL THEM UP!
They leak and condensate like crazy.

IMO, either install real retrofits, or do the ultimate headlight mod that’s sticky’d.

I ripped these out, and put in some retrofits. 1000x better.
I wouldn’t waste my money ever again on these.
Stock housing with sylvainia silverstar bulbs have far better output than these spyders equipped with HIDs do.

I have not had any moisture issues but I did modify the rubber a little to fit the led fan. Here are some after pics.

My only beef is the led rings are not very bright. More of an accent than an actual light. Projectors have a very crisp horizon so not sure where the other post above had issues.

This is before I wired all the leds up 8C56094C-2A4D-4F99-B919-34A0C7E262B4.jpg

Hope this shows the cutoff or “horizon” from the low beam projectors well enough. C44D270D-88B1-4AE0-A841-3D32804E2A1D.jpg

That’s a far better cutoff than the set that I had.
Maybe they changed lenses in the last couple years.
