2016 TRD Sport DCSB (manual) used prices in Canada.

I'm looking for a specific used 2016 Tacoma.

MSRP for this model (the base DCSB TRD Sport manual without the upgrade package) in 2016 was $36,840 CDN.

A couple dealers in Ontario have used models on the lot, with between 30-50,000km on them and they are listed for $38-39,000 plus HST.

Are they insane? I know Tacomas hold their value but to ask more than original list price is crazy. In 2 cases these trucks were sold by the dealer, and then traded in, so freight and PDI was paid by the original owner. I don't get it.

Both trucks have been on the lot well over a month...

What price should I offer them that they may reasonably consider?

At this point both trucks I'm looking were built almost 3 years ago.

 

That iss just about 28,700 USD, right. That does seem to bad, but this close to new, I choose new every time. As stated here on TW, you don't know many farts are in those seats already.

 

For sure, I'd much prefer a fart-less seat. Problem is Toyota doesn't sell that model anymore in Canada. I need a truck with no moonroof, and the 2017/2018's only come with the roof. Frustrating.

 

Or spend double and go pro!
