With your low humidity it will dry out pretty quick I bet.

I'm a little late to this thread but I did something very similar on my back seat.

Apparently the previous owner of my truck spilled a latte or hot chocolate on the back seat, then dumped some terrible smelling air freshener on the seat to cover it up. I was about to buy a new seat when I decided to take it apart. I just used a set of needle nose pliers to remove the hog ring clips and then I stuck the seat covers in the washing machine. I took the seat foam into my bathroom tub and soaked it with a combination of hot water, laundry detergent, and dish soap. I did a CPR like move to squeeze as much water out as I could, then stuck the seat foam in the summer sun for about a week. It took crazy long for them to dry!

Now the smell is 99.5% gone!

Tell me about it! We're supposed to be below zero overnight by the end of this week.

This, dump a whole box, let it sit then vaccum it up (w a shop vac)

I bet that seat is stained for life though.

You could take it to a detailer for a steam too.

Put a one can of coffee, in a open container. Place under seat or just dump on floor. leave the windows up much as possible, an doors closed. This works better in the middle of summer. It works do not laugh till you try it.

Surprisingly, the Goo Gone didn't stain the fabric. It looks like there's gonna be a bit of a water stain left, though. Once I get the foam dried out I'll try a steam cleaner on it.
