Anyone running these rims have problems with not being able to have stick on wheel weights on the inside of the rim? I have these rims but the wheel weights that are on are about a quarter of an inch away from the caliper, I'm having a bad vibration from 50 to 60 and think some of the weights got knocked of because on top of the calipers I had painted the paint is gone. So I'm thinking that they had some weights stacked on top and there is no way there would have been clearance. Is it because I'm running spacers and by pushing the wheel out it's making it closer to the caliper? I have the factory 16in trd off road rims on now and don't have clearance issues with the caliper , but also the weights are on the outside of these rims. Any info would be great

I think I have to get them rebalanced, do you guys know if the weights can be put in further toward the face of the wheel? Or do they need to be on the inside near the edge toward the caliper

No issues here. Sounds like somebody didn't clean the wheel or double stacked weights

Yes the weights were double stacked I think that's what scraped the paint off the top of the caliper, there's really nothing else it could have been

Can I tell them to not put the weights near the caliper or is that where they need to be so it can be balanced properly

Generally it's as close to the outside and as close to the inside as possible, for a static balance one weight in the middle, for hammer on and sticky weights together it's the hammer on goes on the inside lip and the sticky goes as close to the outside of the wheel as possible. I static balance my trd wheels because I run mud tires. Makes it easier on me

Find a new tire store, they did not clean the wheel enough before installing the new weights. I had this problem and changed tire shops and have never had this problem since.
