    I have an Optima Group 35 Battery in my truck now. Will this kit work with (2) D35's? Or would i need to get the Group 34's?

    Yes a D35 will fit. The D34 and D34/78 are 10.06 inches long, 6.94 inches wide, and 7.88 inches tall. The D35 is shorter in all dimensions but not by so much that it would slide out from under the top retainer plate, so you shouldn't have any problem.

    As a more general answer, really any batter who's bottom edge form factor is in the 10.06 x 6.94 inches or just slightly larger will fit just fine. The height isn't a large concern until you get to the fairly tall batteries. There is a fair amount of room before getting into the hood there. I know a few are running Die Hard and Odyssey batteries and I've checked Interstate's before also, but I'm sorry I don't remember those part numbers.

    We're currently only offering the battery mounts. There are too many different ways everyone is setting these up to handle a kit for everyone.

    It has, and it does not fit. We've done some looking at it but it doesn't look promising.

    Lloyd, those should fit fine. The top plate does not encroach on the terminals.

Secondary smog pump mod done. Cali Raised ditch lights and amber fog lights installed with On off switches installed in 2 of 3 factory blank slots!
    Will these work on a 17 4cyl?

    Looking to retain my stock Interstate group 24F starting battery and add a UPG 75 A-h true deep cycle battery (10.24 x 6.61 x 8.27) to my 2008 2.7L 4x4, will I be able to make this dual tray work? Thanks

    No the stock battery does not fit in our dual battery tray. There is not enough room in the stock battery location for the stock battery and a second battery. You have to go to the group 34 sized batteries to get two in that location.

    I'm officially confused then because my stock battery (this one) is approximately 10.25 x 6.75 x 7.9 (just measured with ruler) which is the same size as a group 34 from what I can gather and also the same size as the deep cycle I am looking at, any clarification?

    Looks like maybe some Tacomas have stock group 27 batts (which are longer) and others have group 24F stock. Is it possible that you're referring to stock group 27s that won't fit when turned 90 degrees as they are 12+ inches, and that stock 24F will fit as they are only 10.25 and thus the same size as group 34?

    Or is it something to do with the posts/top of the battery not meshing with the shape of the hold-down?

    @ArmorTech ,

    Your website needs some updating. I just went to see if you make a dual battery tray for the 10+ 4Runner and that section is blank. Same thing for all sections that aren't 05+ tacoma or 03-09 4Runner.

    This actually would make sense for the 4 cylinder engine to have a smaller battery. It would not require as much power to turn over. If your battery is the same size as the group 34 battery then our mount will work fine.

    We are phasing out the ATO website. Please visit 4xinnovations.com for all 4Runner products. We don't have much for the 5th gens right now but we are working on tons of new products for the 5th gens.
