As much as I'd like to be camper buying folks, my next couple of years has too much uncertainty to be spending money I don't need to. That said, I'm all over these t-nuts if you start offering them.

I did. Bent them to follow the roof contours of a 1st gen.

I’d love to take mine down there. I’ve wanted goto expo but scheduling hasn’t worked out in the past. I’ve got a ton of vacation to use up so I’m thinking I should head out to Bozeman to pick up my camper then wander down to expo. Sounds like a fun trip to me.

We don't have anything designed yet, but we have a very extensive line of accessories and mounts planned for both interior and exterior mounting.

Please please please don't make them 5/16-18. Metric to match the rest of the Tacoma and the rest of the world and the tools most of us carry in our vehicles. Please :)

I gotta second this! I loooove your unholy mount but it kinda drove me nuts that the one tiny Allen bolt was standard instead of metric.

This is a good call. We will definitely be able to make those in metric.

FWIW, in this country stainless standard fasteners (machine screws in this case) are cheaper and more abundant. But totally get the point with a universal tool kit for metric.

So getting the first few bits back from powder. Charcoal gray makes the extrusion look pretty bitchin. Stoked how this came out. Really nice combined with the deep clear ano.

    Track with the pivot nut.

Picking up powdered aluminum panels this afternoon and swapping them for the frame which should get done tomorrow. Final assembly of everything (anodized, powder coated, etc) should be happening friday morning. Hopefully photoshoot friday afternoon.

I like the idea. Just read through the whole thread and visited the website.

I have some (potentially dumb) questions:
How will the hinged side panels lock/unlock?
How much cab overhang is there on a DCSB?
Weight of the short bed versions?
Weight the different options will add, windows, hinged sides etc. ?

I have been searching for something like this for a few months. I am definitely interested in purchasing when it comes out. This thread was enough for me to register here and post.

I can't wait to see more pictures.
