    First time Tacoma buyer....
Seems like a good deal. I've checked 6 other dealerships in Dallas Fort-Worth and only one was able to match.

Fairly bare-bones SR5, but suits my needs.

    2017 SR5 double cab, 5' bed, V6, 4x2, automatic. Barcelona Red.

    MSRP: $33,003

    Sale Price: $29,003

    $4,000 off sticker.
    0% financing for 60.
    2.9% for 72

Test drove it today and loved it!

    Good deal?

6126C7B0-AF5A-4FB7-9077-262D1CA3C9FC.jpg Looking at Toyota USA site, a 2018 DCSB 4x2 in the same configuration, with no additional accessories has MSRP of $31,265+$995 delivery at $32,260.00. If all of the 2018 Tacomas now have Safety Sense, and prices went up for 2018, then the 2017 you are looking at with an MSRP of $33,003.00 must have some accessories added.
Or, does it have an additional dealer markup sticker plus accessories next to the MSRP sticker adding up to $33,003?
When talking about prices, sticker and MSRP can be referred to as two different things. To put it another way, “sticker price” can be anything the dealer puts on the window.

Any time you can get $4,000.00 off of the true MSRP without mark-up on a Tacoma, then that is a good price. The low interest rate is of course also good.
The best that I’ve seen in the NW in tracking prices over the last year was around $2,400.00 to $2,700.00 off MSRP for Tacomas in the $38,000.00 to $42,000.00 range.

Don’t discount that 0%. That’s another $2631 right there over 2.9%/72. I doubt you’ll get that on a 2018, so if it’s what you want, then buy the truck and take the financing deal. You can also look around at different configurations on the lot and see if they’ll work with you on those if you want more features.

I would pay the ~700$ difference just to NOT have this safety sense BS

The invoice price on a TRD Sport is $29k so yeah you probably could have shaved some off, but its not worth sweating over since you already bought it. I bought mine for 30K OTD with a 9K tradein (2017 SR5 4X4). Could have talked them into a better price on the car and sold mine elsewhere but I am happy, its worth the extra 1-2 grand to not have the hassle, and I got 0% with an unlimited powertrain and extended warranty/service. Also not buying out of shitty SE Toyota with the bullshit from port.
