6" lift questions

Im sure it is here some where i just cant find it.
If i do a 6 inch lift and get the proper kit not doind it the cheep way.

What am i looking at for steering linkage problems and drive shaft(prerunner) angle problems.

Any pics of a 6" lift would be great.

Also who makes ring and pinion gear sets for our truck.

That is my buddy's Civic with an H22 in it. (His pride and joy.....a buddy from the local auto club board that we both chat on fabbed that up me. )

Great picture and nice lift, I just bought another car and there went my 6" lift. Oh well, I gotta keep the wife happy

 

I just decided tonight to give up the Girlfriend. Bah, too much drama.....and I thought this one was a good one.

I have a Honda Prelude (1993) as my daily bullshit vehicle....I only live 9 KM (so what is that, like 6 MI) from work. I take that most of the time....I take the Tacoma on Fridays to show it off though.

Oh women though.....so many women, so little time.

So anyways, back to 6" lift questions....I bought my Tacoma brang new....and the first week that I owned it, I hacked the frame up and installed my 6" Fabtech lift kit. Anyone care to see pics?

 

Actually I would.

 

Your setting a good example, note the glasses, gloves, jackstands, and the cleanlyness of you work area. Truck looks clean, must have been new. Kinda glad I didn't go the 6" route.

 

What did you have to do to the frame to get it to work was it a clearence issue.

 

With a 4wd you have to cut the factory crossmember to allow for the front driveshaft when you drop everything up front. CraigTRD, I'm right there with you, I got the Pro Comp stage 2 installed about 3 weeks after buying mine. Nothing like cutting up a brand new 30k truck, lol.
