    I'm new to this forum and looking forward to ideas and other cool stuff. I just bought a 2002 Tacoma SR5 4WD as a weekend "dog truck" from the original owner (friend).

    Frame? Hi Scottalot- is there something I should look for? It's a California truck that has seen zero off-roading just a few trips to the ski areas and dirt road camping areas. No accidents.

    It's got 180k on it. I just had my mechanic do a "major service" to it. Timing belt (water pump, seals, etc), all new fluids, brakes, new battery, spark plugs). Mechanic said it's in awesome shape. Interior is perfect!
