Ya know, I knew I probably needed bolts since thats how i mounted my fuse block to the fuse cover, but the late after work on a Monday part of my brain decided screws were fine...LOL

Sounds like you and I have the exact same project going. Gonna be running BD S2s to the Prinsu for side lights and redoing all my existing wiring for the compressor, light bar, HAM, etc to clean it all up.

Sounds like fun. I haven’t done too much wiring other than my pop & lock, my bed lights, and my front and rear anytime Camera. So that wiring will all stay how it is now. I’ve kind of put off my lighting because I wasn’t sure about which direction I wanted to go with wiring. I was looking at SwitchPros, SPODS, DIY Busmanns, and then just Blue Sea Fuse Systems so that all of my accessories could have their own push button in the cab. However, when I ran into this setup, it just made the most since to me. Therefore, I finally made the decision to run with it. I’ve seen a lot of people do wiring in their vehicles and it look messy bc if so much wiring that they have to redo it with systems like this. When I Wire, I just wanted it to be one time. One and done. For this setup, I will have it connected to my OEM Battery. I’m not sure if I will eventually change it when I get my Dual Battery System or not. For this setup, I will be running a 30” Amber Wide Driving LED Light Bar for my Front Bumper, Squadrons for my Ditch Lights, Squadrons for my Dust/Additional Reverse Lights, and then some Rock Lights. I have a couple projects going on with Rock Lights: Third Brake Light, DRL Lighting, Courtesy Lighting, Hood Scoop Lighting, etc. I’m also going to leave some open spots on this SwitchPro for my Roof Rack Wiring even tho I don’t have that yet. Then when I do all my Bed Accessories, I will connect them to my other Battery on a different setup mounted in my cubby in the bed of the truck. I will have a Solar Panel, Fridge, OBA, OBW, and some S2s to light up the campsite. Who knows, by them, maybe some other goodies. Haha. Not sure on the System for that. I’d like to run a second SwitchPro back there or I may just do another Blue a Sea System back there like I have on this setup.

Good luck with your install. I’ll be excited to see your finished product.

My shorty wires were quickly received. Installed them yesterday..

I'm gunna need a drill press to get through these Mobtown doors for the blue seas rear power. I wanna do I this way as I'm fearful I'd mess up cutting into the bed itself.

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Mo' progress. Received my plate material today, so I knocked out the mount for my breaker and winch cutoff. Hoping to get the wiring done next weekend.

Anyone know if there's any place in Utah that is good at this kind of wiring for the Tacoma? I'm sure I could figure it all out, but I'd rather take it to a pro. I had a stereo shop I used to do my remote start offer to do some custom wiring, but he didn't have any experience so I passed.

    North or South UT?

Pro 4X4 / Pro audio does great work as recommended by a few people I know. Located in Provo.

Install darn near complete. Got to finish up the accessory ring terminals, but I had run out. Super clean and eliminates the rat's nest under the hood. Pleased with the xpotrpr mount as well (got the last one :D )

Grew up partly in the Manassas area. Lived the whole military brat life, so spent a few years there.

I really like these trays, but I don't have any need for the fuse box for what I'm going to do (only a switch pro plus bus bars for neatness). Is there an option without that side of the tray, or is the larger tray necessary for stability as that's where the support attaches?

Edit; this is for 3rd gen.

Yep you got it right, the far end of the tray is where the support leg attaches.
I could cut that section off for you if you really don't want it... the switch pro is not that much weight, so you'd be ok with just the fender bolts.
But why not keep it and keep the added support it offers... Then if you ever did want to add another accessory you would have a place to mount it.

I have the SDHQ switch-pro mount and will be switching to a Powertray when I finally get around to figuring out additional cable lengths. I can send you the switch pro mount if you would want to use it.
