3" 33s, UCAs, Hurst Short Throw, JL 12 500 Watts

theres a spring that has to rotate counter clockwise on the 6 speed then you can pull your shifter out, mine seems to be stuck and won’t compress very far to turn... does anyone have any tricks? I’ve tried pliers and a wrench anything helps thanks
