If I take that bitch out with me to mess with the cable, she'll run right back in and tell on me.

Don't worry when "Mom" (hers) visits next week, the only thing the TV will get is Velocity and the Outdoor Channel for Wednesday night at the range. ;)

    Merry Christmas.

    Congrats

... BTW my cow dressed out to 172 lbs of harvested/deboned meat. Fish & Game guy said she was just under 2 yrs old by her teeth wear when I filled my hunt report and turned in my lower jaw specimen. Good sign they are healthy and growing fast... we sure thought she was 3-4 years old.

    :)

I am no expert with the microwave and hate to use it for meat. I bought a counter top toaster oven with convection mainly for reheating meat. Sorry not much help sounds like others have had some luck with the microwave but I have not when it comes to meat. I understand the whole time thing too, good luck.

Guess it is 3 degrees cooler here than Green Bay right now.

A bit more work but my son liked them better than the way I normally do them.

    Plated.jpg

Crispy on the outside and juicy falling off the bone tender on the inside. Which was filled with hot sauce. A few tweaks and think might start doing this more often.

    That sounds great.

On the whole microwave thing, I don't like it for just meat. But I have had some success by heating for multiple short periods. I'll hit it for 30 seconds with the same amount of time in between and do that 2 or 3 times. And I'll reheat it whatever it's in that's microwave safe...ziplock sandwich bags unzipped and on a paper plate work pretty good.

    Well ,

I decided on my Christmas present though, I will have to wait a few months to pick it up though..
@Tacoma Mike dinner is on me sometime in spring.

    A pup from this breeding.

Elly z Vozovky (11/28/15), OFA 0/0 Czech rating is bred to Porto Z Tresnaku, IPO1, ZVV1. OFA 0/0 Czech rating. Blacks and sables.

    Porto z Tresnaku (7-15-12), IPO1, ZVV1, OFA 0/0 Czech rating
Porto is the newest male to the Timber Ridge packs. He, like Vera, journeyed to Maine from the Czech Republic where he worked as a police dog. He is learning that Maine is a pretty decent state and that Timber Ridge is a pretty cool place. His coat is a short sable and his temperament is that of a gentleman who is eager to please all the sable and black and red ladies in his new life. These furry females don’t always welcome Porto’s wooing and groveling, but men have had to live with rejection and heartbreak from the very first and he tries not to let it get him down. He has learned that the human who rules at the center of his life can always be counted on for sympathy, hugs, and reward-based school. Porto’s intelligence and good sportsmanship make him a valued member of the Timber Ridge family.

Elly z Vozovky (dob 11-28-15), 0/0 Czech rating
Elly has a beautiful sable coat and tufted ears. Visitors sometimes mistake her for Envious, but Elly, even though she loves her her human mom, loves everyone else too. Like her relative Bessi she is long and lean and graceful. Curious, confident, and intelligent, she loves to be outside doing it all, but when she goes in the house at night, she settles quickly. Elly is a happy-let’s-do-this kind of girl with good family energy and temperament.

Well I think I'm ready to change the bumpers on my truck and Jeep. I really like having some extra steel and winches on my rigs. I really don't care much for the winch bumpers that are out there for the 1st gens. The truck is really rounded and the bumpers have those angles. I'll have to see what I can come up with.

I'm thinking about a big hunk of channel iron big enough to house the winch, fairlead, clevis mounts and a couple lights.
