Saw mention in one post about not getting caught by the Sheriff, got me thinking. I don't snowmobile anymore, but saw now and then where someone tried to go over groomed roads that are for use by snowmobiles, ruts made by attempts to four wheel drive over them, make for hazardous conditions for snowmobilers/rigs with tracks. Also, illegal for non-over-the-snow vehicles. Just a heads up, if caught, the Forest Service or LE will ticket you. If it's not groomed yet, or not a route, you should be good to go. Call ahead if needed, snow routes should be marked. Seen more than one vehicle that got stuck, or one that was left until Spring. Makes for a good ramp for snowmobiles to launch off of. Those carbide ski skags make for nice scratches.
