I'm happy with the "standard" stereo in my 2011, & use an i-pod through a cable that I learned about 6+ years ago here on this Forum, but nowadays, it would be nice to have Bluetooth for phone calls & GPS directions from my android phone. A feature that my stock head unit does not have.

I have seen some Bluetooth accessory add-on's on the market, but not sure if they really work. I suppose the correct way is to buy a completely new head unit to replace the stock one. I had the head unit out when I put the cable in for the ipod years ago, so I know it is not a big deal.

Also, I am not interested in upgrading the speakers or adding a subwoofer as my 70+ year old wife is always telling me to "turn the sound down" as it is.

Any suggestions on new head-units with Bluetooth?

    Thanks...

BluLogic actually makes an option that fits with the stock radio. I've been running this in my '11 for 6+ years and zero complaints. There are two options, they both work the same and the only difference is the size of the button that comes within the kit.

PT923-00098 fits in slots just above the internal fusebox (left of the steering wheel)
PT923-00112 fits in the slots under the radio (you need this if you own a TRD OffRoad)

Interesting option, with good information. Thanks for the response.

Not having any of my six vehicles that already have bluetooth, I don't know much about it. I suppose once you pair your phone with it, you could use the bluetooth to play the music from your phone (without using my ipod / cable), hear google GPS directions from the phone, & finally, talk on the phone all at the same time?
