Thank you for the picture. It‘s hard to tell just from looking at it, but how do you deal with water running down the outer tent when erected? Whether it‘s rain or just moisture.

In that photo you're looking at the rain gutter. There's a flange inside the fabric at the base and all the water runs down into the gutter and out drain holes placed along the length of the gutter. So we're intentionally channeling water into that part of the frame tube.

Knowing how much time & manufacturing costs goes into this level of detail and quality, I'm super impressed with your price point.

    I like it a lot!

It looks like it ticks all the boxes without a deal breaker. It would be what I would design and build if I had the time and skills.

A couple more detailed pics and I might have to put down a deposit. Hopefully lead times are reasonable once these launch.

The longer you wait, the farther back in line you’ll be! Gotta hop on this before everyone else, that’s what I did. This has gotten better with every post and I’m super excited for it

Merry Christmas! From reading this thread the frame isn't a quick on and off mount to the pickup bed ? Pics from inside?

It’s not much harder than mounting a topper. Same general mounting approach. I’ll get some pics of the inside later today.

    Merry Christmas all!

Thanks for all the kind words guys! It's been a really fun project to develop so far. I don't want to overpromise, but I think folks will be surprised at the quality of the system once they see it in person, especially at the price point. A big part of our ability to meet those targets it literally by doing everything in house. Sewing, machining, welding etc is all done by us. Raw materials come in, products come out and we have no middle man in the sales chain. The internet is pretty awesome that way, this wouldn't have been possible a few years ago.

Thanks again for everyone's support on here, and stoked to start shipping product. I am really happy how this thing is turning out.

A quick interior shot with one of the small floor panels removed.

And another exterior shot next to the Test Mule prototype. I had to retrieve the roof bars so I can haul surfboards to Baja :) This thing has come along way in just a couple of months.

It is easy to see the quality, whether in the unholy mount, the pics, or the great answers posted in this thread.

If I had the $$, I would have a reservation. Darn kids!

I’m diggin the red / orange of the bars. Pretty awesome in my opinion

Is that fully bolted down? Looks kind of odd with the spacing in a couple of those brackets, especially on the right side rail.

There probably one more on each side out of view.

I agree. The orange and black is rocking!

I am a bit green with envy. Hahaha!

You obviously need to use the kids to justify the purchase. Think how much more fun you can have and adventures you can go on when you aren’t spending an hour setting up and tearing down camp! Kids these days need more time outdoors

I’m looking at the angled pieces that bolt the gfc to the bed rail. Some of them look to be bolted all the way down. The second one on the right rail has a gap between the top of it and the gfc. I’m guessing there’s some variation in that spacing. Most toppers I’ve seen have a piece that you essentially screw together two halves so whatever the spacing is doesn’t matter, it’s basically tightening a clamp. I also believe the spacing between the bed rail and top of the bed is different on the second and third gens.

This is the clamp off my diamond back topper for example. Bottom part hooks right into the rail.
